Hi,

we have defined a treatment with a custom detail, that contain the following text: "Ciao #!1!# #!2!#, aggiorni il suo contatto di posta elettronica".

We set a variable of reply definition with this custom detail of treatment but we need to replace the tag, #!1!#, with name of customer and #!2!# with surname.
The name and surname of customer are obtained via data process into a decision campaign.

It's possible define a calculated variable that reclace this values. Is there some function like tranwrd to use into calculated variable?

We can't use a SAS process with DS2 code to replace this text for performance issue.

Best regards,
Paolo

Hi,

we have defined a treatment with a custom detail, that contain the following text: "Ciao #!1!# #!2!#, aggiorni il suo contatto di posta elettronica".

We set a variable of reply definition with this custom detail of treatment but we need to replace the tag, #!1!#, with name of customer and #!2!# with surname.
The name and surname of customer are obtained via data process into a decision campaign.

It's possible define a calculated variable that reclace this values.
I guess I don't understand why you are looking for "some function LIKE tranwrd" when tranwrd seems to do exactly what you want.

Hi,

because the function tranwrd is not present into the list of available functions of calculated variables in SAS RTDM.
Is there an alternative function/way??

Best regards,
Paolo
