Specific directory logging

I'm new to SAS and have built a SAS 9.4 server. As part of a requirement we have to log everything that is opened, modified, or deleted out of a specific directory. The end user that uses this particular data on the server accesses it with Enterprise Guide 7.x. How do I go about doing this? Where are the logs kept if this is already occurring?

By default SAS doesn't track everything, But you can enable few loggings and increase the logging level to achieve your goal, You can refer System Monitoring and Logging topic in following SAS Document to get more detailed information:

Please note that Excessive logging can degrade performance.

Thanks for your reply. Yeah I don't want to do excessive logging. I just need to know when the files in a particular directory are accessed and who accesses them. So, if I have files in c:\billing. I need to know how to monitor this directory.
