No, SAS closes with the warning. When the user tries to authenticate on the server they use this message comes up. We think they might not be added to that group properly even though it says they are added. Okay thank you, I will take a look at it now.

Hi,

I'm trying to find a solution to error that I am having.

The error is

WARNING: Physical file does not exist, C:\User\user\AppData\Local\Temp\SAS Temporary
Files\_TD16632

I read up on it and it was suggested to me that the temp file that is created was not getting removed due to incorrectly exiting SAS. We asked the user to check and there were no files in the SAS Temporary folder. One thing that confuses me is that when I test it on my machine, every time you start up Base SAS it generates a new temp file and this error is consistently asking for that same one. It was also suggested that It was a disk space issue, but the user has just received the laptop and it isn't that. Could it also be a hot fix that was not installed?

Thank you!

Have a good day.

Hi @Dylan_ketcher,

You're seeing this as a WARNING -- is SAS actually starting up? Or does it exit with this message?

Any chance that there are some statements in an AUTOEXEC.SAS file that might be causing this? See the SAS documentation for how an autoexec is found/processed.
