    <description>&lt;P&gt;Dear SASKiwi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks for reply.As part of client requirement, the reports we are publishing in the MSBI&amp;nbsp; So to access from sql we are registering the meta data.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Please could you help to provide any advice how to find the structured modified tables.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Is there we have any v lookup options to trace structure modified tables to mitigate the problem.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Many Thanks&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Dears,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We register the tables using proc metalib. After updating the table in SAS EG or SAS BASE .It not updating properly.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;For instance , if we have 10 variables , suppose deleted two variables in SAS EG it should be 8 ,but in BASE SAS it is showing 10 .&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Like that we are facing meta data issue.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Kindly help to advice how to&amp;nbsp; fix this issue&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Many&amp;nbsp; Thanks&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Regards,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Dhruva&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;SAS metadata for registered tables doesn't update automatically when you change the structure of the physical SAS table. You have to update the metadata separately. Rerunning PROC METALIB should do this.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;That is why I try to avoid registering tables in SAS metadata where at all possible for this very reason. It creates extra maintenance requirements I prefer not to have. Why do you think you need to register tables?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
