Hello,

I'm trying to understand how prompts work, I tried adding one, but it seems to be doing nothing:

This is the basic code that I run to see if it's working:

%let prompt_1;

%put &=prompt_1 ;

am I not mapping something correctly? Appreciate the help!

Have you attached the prompt to the code node?

I wasn't aware of that. the tutorials that I've gone through don't mention that either. How do I go about doing it? Thank you for this information.

Right mouse click on the code node, select Properties. I think it's 'Assign Prompt'.

And remove your invalid %let statement.
