      <description>&lt;P&gt;And while you're at it studying the link&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://communities.sas.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/15475"&gt;@andreas_lds&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;gave you, I advise you to use the navigation pane on the left to see the wealth of functions (see Maxim 9) that SAS provides. You'll also find statements, formats, procedures and whatnot. I know it's a little like reading a phone book, but the more you scan through this, the more you get a feeling for what is there and where it can be found, and that is the gist of Maxim 1.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I also advise you to scroll down to "Learn SAS Programming", and study the "SAS Language Reference: Concepts" there. You'll get a much clearer picture of how the whole thing works, and many questions you have or will have are answered there.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
