How to Integrate an External URL in SAS 7.1 UIs (AML)

We are in to SAS 7.1 and using for AML investigations.

We need to fire a URL on Click of a button or a Hyper Link on SAS UI (to populate some scanned and stored documents in a different database).

Is there anyone who has done same? or

Can anyone suggest an approach to get this done? Please let us know

Hi,

can you describe the desired use case more fully? Would the hyperlink in the SAS UI open a external page only so the user can manually retrieve information? Or something else?

We are in the process of implementing SAS - AML (Version 7.1)

During Investigations (of the Customer), we want to retrieve documents (by clicking on the account number given on the SAS User Interface) that the Customer has provided at the time of opening the account or after (These are documents that the Bank has already scanned and stored in the SAN in the Bank). Rather than letting the User at AML User Interface we want that scanned image too populated within the same UI or at least in a different Tab or a browser window Only in case of finding difficult in showing up within the same UI.

Similarly, we need to retrieve source documents of transactions too which are also in similar manner.

The exact functionality you describe is not currently supported in the out of the box product. However, it is possible to add a hyperlink in the Additional Details section of the UI screens that launches a page in a browser window to display a specific item. SAS Professional Services could assist with adding this functionality, if needed. Please contact your SAS customer contact for more information.
