SAS Certified Statistical Business Analyst Using SAS 9: Regression and Modeling

Hi ,

Is there a prep guide(in pdf or book format) for SAS Certified Statistical Business Analyst Using SAS 9: Regression and Modeling. I am not inclined to join the full course /training program , that offered by SAS. I have some knowledge about all the topics included in the certification, but need some direction . A question pattern guide would also be helpful.

Hi:

Currently there is no Prep Guide for the Certified Statistical Business Analyst certification exam. The classes that would prepare you for the exam are Statistics 1 and Predictive Modeling using Logistic Regression, as described on the exam web site (http://support.sas.com/certify/creds/sba.html#s1=2). You can view some sample questions here (http://support.sas.com/certify/creds/samples.html#sba). If you don't want to take the courses because you already know the material, then you could purchase the course notes from the SAS Bookstore (http://support.sas.com/publishing/index.html) in order to see what's covered in those two classes.

The course notes run about $100 per course, so I'd recommend getting those as well. They're cost effective and likely to cover the topics on the exam.

Hi Cynthia , Could you tell me is SAS STAT User Guide 9.1 is a sufficient study material for this certification. I know this is a very detailed volume, but I am trying to understand if it atleast has , all that we need to know before this certification.

Hmm...I hope you realize there's a significant difference between BI (Business Intelligence) vs BA (Business Analyst) and the exams.

This is partly why I and my employers do not trust the SAS Certification system and usually test employees directly.

I have knowledge of topics related to this certification and just need direction to solve question related to it. Can you tell me how much time it would take for me to prepare and plan for exam? Is month and half enough to go throught the topics and practice questions?

I bought the two books, that you have mentioned in your earlier post. But, I dont know where to find the SAS files and data sets discussed in the book. Can you please provide me with that information.
