This usage note might be of interest: http://support.sas.com/kb/22/107.html - and of course you might want to consider using SAS Forecast Server, which was designed for this purpose also. This whitepaper will provide some more details: http://www.sas.com/apps/whitepaper/index.jsp?cid=3478
How to obtain forecast for each stratum automatically?

Hi

I have 7 years historical data on hospital separations by age groups (5 groups), sex (2 groups) and disease categories (100 groups).

I have figured out how to obtain the overall forecast, including to have explanatory variables (such as age groups, sex and disease categories) in the model, using TSFS - thanks sbb for your help!

Now I would like to have someone to help me to find out how to produce forecasts for each age group-sex-disease category specific group automatically. I know one option is to obtain forecast for each stratum using the standard method as those to obtain the overall forecast, which means I have to do 5X2X100=1000 times to obtain 1000 series of forecasts. Just wanted to find how to do this automatically.

Thanks.
