Hello!

You are correct--PROCs X11, X12 and X13 are limited to seasonal adjustment of monthly or quarterly time series. This is consistent with the U.S. Census Bureau's methodologies on which these procedures are based. For additional details and other procedures you might want to consider for your weekly series, please see Udo's response in the following posting:

Can X12 or X13 procs be used on weekly data?

I'm getting an error message when trying to run X12 and X13 procedures on weekly data series, and it is kind of looking like maybe the procedure is only meant for monthly or quarterly data. Can someone confirm that there is not an argument I can add to change frequency to weekly? Any other thoughts on running a seasonal adjustment on weekly data if it is not possible using X12 or X13?
