SAS SDK Android Upgrading from 25.0.1 to 26.0.1 NoSuchFieldException

Hi,

I'm upgrading the SAS SDK android library on an android project. I'm upgrading from 25.0.1 to 26.0.1. The project does build, but I get an NoSuchFieldException on runtime. Does anybody know how to fix this?

The exception:

java.lang.NoSuchFieldError: No static field slidingPanel of type I in class Lcom/sas/android/visualanalytics/toolkit/R$id; or its superclasses (declaration of 'com.sas.android.visualanalytics.toolkit.R$id' appears in /data/app/dk.star.jobindsats.jobindsatsapp-fyq3Mw-wy2Yzt5wXtix0qw==/base.apk!classes3.dex)

Hello Alexander,

Do you perhaps have a layout file named report_view.xml in your app? The error you are seeing seems quite similar to this discussion on StackOverflow which indicates that the likely cause is two layout files with the same name:
