JQuery is a function of the browser. SAS’s only job is to
make sure that valid JQuery code gets to the browser, where the JQuery Javascript
is then run by the browser.

When preparing a web page that will be using JQuery a series
of tools is useful. A web page builder like Microsoft Web Expressions, a
Javascript IDE like Jetbrains Webstorm and SAS’s DI Studio to build and deploy
the SAS Stored Processes backing the web pages.

So yes, SAS 9.2, 9.3 and 9.4 can each be used.

I have a stored process that I am displaying inside of Information Delivery Portal as a Web URL Portlet. The stored process contains a web page created via put statements and SAS code in the middle. I need to allow multiple selection dropdowns in the web section. Does Jquery work smoothly with SAS? Is it already installed? Am I limited to a particular version? If installing it is there a best practice location to install it? I am using SAS 9.2. Is
this the right location for this post?
