Creating a SP scrambles special characters in text

Hi there,

We're having a problem when creating a SP from a EGuide project. All special characters in the SP code get scrambled.

For example, we have a comparison in the code like:

if name='balcão' then ...

when the SP code is generated the character 'ã' is changed into some weird characters and the comparison wont work.

We are now working with EGuide 4.3. With version 4.2 this didn't happen.

I've unsucessfuly searched the Web for an hot fix on this issue.

Any idea on how to go through this?

When you say weird characters ... I'm wondering if it's using EBCDIC or UNICODE ... or maybe just changing to plain ASCII ('0Z').

If that is the case - you may need to use a function that "cleans/keep" the data before the comparison.
