      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm looking for a paper that explains the algorithm for estimating the basic reproduction number (R0) of an infectious disease.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I searched on google scholar, science direct, etc. without finding. I am submitting my concern here hoping that someone has a book or knows the SAS procedure for calculating the reproduction number estimator.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hoping to have feedback on the possible tracks, thank you.&lt;BR /&gt;Gick&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Not familiar with this myself, but &lt;A href="https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6002118/" target="_self"&gt;Reproduction numbers of infectious disease models&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;from the US National Library of Medicine seems like it might be a good start. No SAS code, but it does include formulas...&lt;/P&gt;</description>
