Hi there

I am building a scoring model (with SAS miner) on a continuous target ranging from say -5 to 150.

I am surprised that the predicted values when I run this model on a test base belong to a very different range, especially, no negative values are predicted (predicted values are all positive). Is there a reason for that?

Thanks

Nicolas

do you mean on the explanatory variables? I have binned some of them yes. I did not perform any transformations on the target.
