Importing external data files into SAS Enterprise Miner

Hi there

I have some data files in csv and dat formats in my local directory. I need to import them into SAS EM Workstation to perform data mining operations. I don't find any clue on how to do that ? I can't write proc import code in SAS EM. Is there a way around this problem? I would appreciate your help. Thanks

It depends on your installation and set up. The last time I had full access, EM was set up on its own server so I would have to import the data in SAS EG and upload it to the server from EG. Then I could access it in EM.

You can try the File Import node (from the Sample tab) to read in your data for an Enterprise Miner flow.
