Hello,

I am trying to write some SAS code that would make an API call to a website hosted by Moody's Analytics. The API documentation says that requests use HMAC authentication and that "common choices for HMAC...include C++, Javascript, Python, R, SAS, Stata, and Visual Basic, and tutorials are easily found online."

I tried an Internet search to get a basic template of code for making the API call, but didn't come up with anything too useful.

Can someone suggest where to look to get started? Would PROC HTTP be used or something else?

Thank you for any help or insights.

Dhrumil
