Is there a way to force the SQL Pass-Through option for UNION (Set Operators) in SAS Data Integration Studio?

Issue: When a Job that is using the UNION component is deployed, the deployed code is getting altered to use proc sql instead of SQL Pass-Through for the UNION component. I am not able to force it to use SQL Pass Through always. Is this a Bug ?

Please let me know.

I did a quick test (4.9, SAS 9.4 M2) and it worked for me (with connection to SQL Server using ODBC).

So, if you are opening the transformation, and look in the Code tab. Pass thru or not?

The same in the Code tab of the job?

It shows for the first time, but if you close and open it later the SAS code in the code tab will show Proc SQL instead of pass-through.

If yo are sure that you saved it properly, and have the access the rights to do so, search for metadata error; in the metadata server log, and in the local DI Studio client log.

Is the error reproducible? That is new job, different tables, different user, different DIS client.

The next step would probably to contact SAS tech support.
