Hi Ronny,

If you have the SAS Business Data Network component, there are features there that will allow you to import a subset of objects into that application, which in turn will create relationships for you in SAS Lineage. It's limited functionality and more appropriate for one-time use.

What it sounds like you want to do is much better supported in the SAS 9.4M3 release due out next week. A relationship loader batch command line utility will be included in this release that lets you take third party application metadata relationships and bring them into SAS's relationship store that sits behind the SAS Lineage application.

Look for the documentation on the SAS support site once SAS 9.4M3 is released to see if this new utility will meet your needs.

Ron

I believe you would receive the utility but I'm not completely sure you would receive the metadata "bridges" that work in conjunction with the utility unless they are included with one of the products you already license. You should check with your SAS account representative to confirm whether you will have access to all the things you need to use this new feature.
