    <description>&lt;P&gt;Are you talking about character or numeric variables?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;With numeric variables, it's just a change of the displayed values, not the raw values stored; the order can't change.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;With character variables, you would only have a problem if a minus sign was right next to the dot/comma, as comma, minus sign and dot follow in immediate succession in the ASCII table (&lt;A href="http://www.asciitable.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;http://www.asciitable.com/&lt;/A&gt;).&lt;/P&gt;</description>
