could not connect to the server SAS DI studio server

Hi All,

When I am trying to access the DI studio , it is failing with the below mentioned error but we are able to access the SAS EG ,SAS SMC application :-

I have checked that all server are up and running as shown in below :-

PSASAPP1/saswas/Lev1:>./sas.servers status

SAS servers status:

SAS Metadata Server 1 is UP

SAS OLAP Server 1 is UP

SAS Object Spawner 1 is UP

SAS Share Server 1 is UP

SAS CONNECT Spawner 1 is UP

SAS Framework Data Server 1 is UP

We have validated the all server form SAS management console which has successfully validated

but some time poolworkspace server validation is failing.

we are able to ping the server host-name and IP from client machine .

Can somebody help me in this ?

Where the log will be generated for the SAS DI studio ?

You probbaly want to start examining the metadata server log.
If no trace of login attempt you should again check the connectivity. A long doesn't always tell if the appropriate ports are open.
There is a local DIS log as well, but I don't think it tells about connection issues, rather java errors/exceptions. It's found somewhere under your Windows user profile (can't recall exact location as of now).

@LinusH Thanks for your suggestion .

We have checked the logs at the location \Users\user-name\AppData\Roaming\SAS\SASDataIntegrationStudio and found that user unxsrv password has been expired. it started working after resetting password for the same user.
