Connect from SAS Unix to Windows Shared folders through SAS Managment Console

Our team is trying to “fully” automate the sas scripts using SAS Management Console. We have been able to schedule them on our Unix Servers. But all our scripts produce excel reports and we need to put the outputted data on the Corporate Shared folders (Windows 7 Enterprise). How can we connect/upload the SAS data from the Unix to the shared folders. Thanks

The easiest way is to mount the shares on the Unix machine(s) where SAS runs.

Your IT group should be able to figure it out for you.

So if you are using \\server\sharename to find the location on Windows then they can mount that folder at some place in the Unix directory tree. So perhaps something like /windows/server/sharename.
