topic SAS process on SAS Metadata server causing high IO close to 90% in SAS Data Management

On the SAS Metadata server we are seeing very high Memory linked to a SAS process. When doing a TOP command, it shows 90% being used by a SAS process. On the metadata server only Metadata services exist. A screen shot is attached. Any suggestions on what could be causing this? We are using version 9.4

Do a ps -f for that process to get the PPIP, and then look up the chain which script started it. Maybe a restart of the metadata server is in order.
