I have to update the view manually and then execute the job which creates
the view?

On a separate note, I'm unable to do the impact or reverse analysis for
that view to know the job which creates the view. Is there any alternate
ways to find the job which creates the view?

I want to update the label for one variable for one of the view located in DI studio. i just wanted to which of the following method is advisable to achieve this?

a. updating the view directly (go to the properties of the view and updating it)

or

b. updating the the DI job job which creates this view

If the view is something that you use from several jobs/data consumers it should be registered in metadata, and then you can use for impact analysis.
If you don't know what creates the view for starters, well....just pull up your sleeves and search (hint: text search the deployed job directory among the .sas files).

It is unfortunate that I'm unable to find the job which creates the view in deployed directory as well.
