Implicit/explicit SQL pass through from SQL is possible. Need some care when designing DI Studio jobs.
Other options are available but requires more licenses, like using SAS Grid on Hadoop.

Can we store the SAS datasets and access the SAS datasets in cloudera or the hortonworks using the SAS DI ?

Is it can be accessed just by using the LIBNAME statements if proper connection is already established by refering the location ?

Can someone please provide any details around this if You worked on SAS with cloudera or hortonworks and how are You using them

Yes
Yes
What is the status of your configuration at this point? If you have a working connection yes, define a library and then you go.
Otherwise, go to the install/configuration doc on support.sas.com for details.

Thanks. Configuration is yet to be started.
Trying to get some ideas about the feasibility to set it up.
One more question please..
Can we use these cloud environment to run the SAS DI jobs itself like how am currently running the codes in unix or mainframe?
If possible, please let me know the cloud environment which we good to use
