Hello,

Is it possible to build predictive models on a customer list with no historical purchase data by using the history an analogous customer demographic?

Is it possible, yes? Is it accurate, no.

I think you have to build the predictive model using the "analagous customer demographic". Then make some assumptions about whether or not applies to any other customer demographic, keep your fingers crossed, and apply the predictive model to the new customer list. But really there's no way to determine beforehand how good this model will be when applied to the new customer list; after a period of time you might be able to test how well the model is performing. But it is a risky thing to do.
