Hi!

Some more information:

When I navigate from my Notifications page to a specific post, I get the correct (#1 because of my "newest first" order) page, and the selected post.

When I navigate to the topic from the SAS Global Forum page, the address is https://communities.sas.com/t5/SAS-Global-Forum-2019/What-to-do-in-Dallas/gpm-p/538012/jump-to/first-unread-message which is translated (at the moment) to https://communities.sas.com/t5/SAS-Global-Forum-2019/What-to-do-in-Dallas/gpm-p/544975#M189, which also works.

But the "Page 1" link (which is https://communities.sas.com/t5/SAS-Global-Forum-2019/What-to-do-in-Dallas/gpm-p/538012) results in me landing on what is for me page 4, and even entering https://communities.sas.com/t5/SAS-Global-Forum-2019/What-to-do-in-Dallas/gpm-p/538012/page/1 manually reroutes me to https://communities.sas.com/t5/SAS-Global-Forum-2019/What-to-do-in-Dallas/gpm-p/538012, and I'm once again on "my" page 4.

So there is a reroute for the physical page 1 address, and this results in the system not correctly honoring the selected sort order for posts.

And the page 1 link in the internal navigation of the topic is not (as I would expect) https://communities.sas.com/t5/SAS-Global-Forum-2019/What-to-do-in-Dallas/gpm-p/538012/page/1, but https://communities.sas.com/t5/SAS-Global-Forum-2019/What-to-do-in-Dallas/gpm-p/538012

Strange behaviour of page layout in the SAS Global Forum community

I have set my "Linear Layout" in the preferences to display newest messages first, which works well in all forums.

But when I enter a multi-page thread in the SAS GF 2019 group like https://communities.sas.com/t5/SAS-Global-Forum-2019/What-to-do-in-Dallas/gpm-p/538012, I always end up on the "last" page, which for me means the beginning of the thread, even when I explicitly navigate to page 1.

This happens only in the SAS GF community, as far as I can determine.

PS using the included link immediately lands me on page 2 of 4, which is also kind of strange.

 https://communities.sas.com/t5/SAS-Global-Forum-2019/What-to-do-in-Dallas/gpm-p/538012/jump-to/first-unread-message

which directs the page to get you to the first message in the thread that you haven't yet read.

Yeah, but the first unread message is on page 1, which I cannot reach when "newest first" is set. When I click on the "1", I end up on page 4.
