I don't have a road-map, but I have a comment.

Having the tools doesn't get you anywhere unless you learn how use them to accomplish useful thing. If you have a hammer and a saw, you are not a carpenter, but you can learn carpentry. Similarly, if you have SAS, you still have to learn how to use the tools provided by SAS to accomplish useful things. There are many ways to obtain this learning, including books, university curriculum, on-line training provided by SAS and others, etc. And in any path that includes learning, there is also the step of doing and making mistakes and learning from those mistakes and improving.

Dear SASians,

I have been using Base and Advanced SAS mostly for ETL operations in my work , and I have very little exposure towards Data visualization and ll other analytic areas.

Now I want to take a jump to learn statistics and become a datascientist using SAS tool. I know here lot of people already in , Please share your experience and road amp to become data sceintist and ML expert using SAS.

Thanks,

You may also want to expand your skill base and add such tools as Python, R, and maybe others depending on your choice of visualization software. Other than those kind of base tech's, without a specific aim or tool suite it will be hard to narrow down what to look at. Statistics could, for instance, be done in any number of technologies, so once you understand the math, then its time to learn the specific tool you will be using for the task. Learning how to use a digger will not help you roof a house...
