&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I suggest with problems where you have a complete data step that you 1) type the code into your SAS session's editor and 2) run the code.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Then read the log and examine the data set. That will likely answer some question, or provide example why some answers are not correct.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Look at the DO statement. The starting value for YEAR is 1990 and the ending value is 2004. Now look at the first of the listed answers. Can YEAR ever get to 2005?!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;During execution of the data step, the iterator variable year will actually increment to 2005, but this value will never be output, because of the explicit OUTPUT in the loop.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
