Check out GDIT - even if it lists a city there's possibility of the option to be remote. It's almost a given right now during COVID-19, but even in the long-run. PM me if you have any questions.

Hello,

Representing SAS Global Certification, I can answer your question about your certification. Our certifications do not expire, however, since 2011 we have introduced the new SAS Base Programming Specialist exam and credential which is the replacement for the credential you have. The new exam is A00-231. If you currently hold the SAS Certified Base Programmer for SAS 9 credential, you can take a shorter, less expensive delta exam to upgrade your credential to the lastest one. It's 75 minutes, 18-22 questions and costs just $75. The exam ID is A00-233. The SAS Base Programming Specialist exam is performance-based and requires that you program in SAS in order to be able to answer the multiple choice and short answer questions. The older A00-211 exam you took, which is still valid, does not have a programming element on the exam and is only multiple choice. If you'd like to learn more about the newer credential please visit our certification web site at: https://www.sas.com/en_us/certification/credentials/foundation-tools/base-programming-specialist.html

Thanks for reaching out.

Kindest regards, Becky
