Questions about base certification

Hi all,

I just have a couple questions before I go complete my first attempt of the SAS base certification on Tuesday.

1. What is the percentage needed to pass?
2. How quick do you get the results of the exam? Is it instant once you finish the exam or do you wait a couple weeks for grading and review?

Thank you in advance for responding. Any additional advice will be appreciated to those who completed the exam. 🙂

I wishing you an ocean of good luck and success in your upcoming exam.

I have done my Base SAS certification in January 2018 with 83%.

1. The considerable pass mark is 70% and above.

2. You no need to wait for your exam result. At the end of the test session, your score report will be generated on the screen.

Using the registration number you ll download your certificate on the SAS website.

I have recently cleared my certification exam.

it is not a base sas certification exam anymore it is base programming specialist exam with exam ID A00-231. It will have both multiple choice as well as coding questions.

The pass scoring is 725 marks.
