I am a student affiliated with SAS,

I have been studying and practicing using SAS studio, but on getting into the exam (SAS A00-231 base performance exam) the lab environment was entirely different, and I was not able to write my code, I did not know where to go to access the libraries or files. Everything was totally strange.

I need help to be able to study and practice with the lab environment that is been used for the exam.

Sincerely,

Rebecca

Hi @Rebecca7,

The A00-231 exam's remote lab provides 4 different UI's to SAS to accommodate different users' preferences, including SAS Studio. It is a locally installed version of SAS Studio rather than cloud as is used with On Demand for Academics. The access to the data sets is slightly different, but other than that functions exactly the same. The arguments for the library statements (library name, folder location) are provided in the exam. Please look at the videos on the exam's web page, and the resources (includes library pointers) and videos (includes an example of working through an example project). linked from the tips and strategies article.
