Searching in an Enterprise Guide project

I am a visually impaired user of SAS Enterprise Guide. I only recently became aware that there is a search box in EG to search the entire project. But I can find no keyboard method to get to the search box. Can it be done without a mouse?

In Enterprise Guide 8.1 and later, the ALT + S key sequence will display the Search window.

Our installation has EG 7.15. Alt-s does not get you to the search box . But after some experimentation, I found that if you hit alt followed by F to open the file menu, then left arrow will put you in the search box.
