Migrating SAS 9.4 DI Studio Jobs to SAS Viya - Is this possible with the Current state of SAS Viya

Our users have SAS DI Studio jobs running in SAS 9.4 with the help of LSF scheduler. SAS Vendor & Consultants in SAS have been suggesting to migrate from SAS9.4 to SAS Viya but it is often discussed that SAS Viya is not a replacement but a complementary product to be integrated with SAS 9.4 . If I go by this , then all I am doing is purchase two licenses for two products of SAS - SAS 9.4 & SAS Viya .

Has the data management release for Viya being released or is SAS Viya ready for DI applications. Also if DI Studio/Server doesn't exist on Viya , is there any way around to migrate SAS 9.4 DI Studio Jobs to SAS Viya.

AFAIK the data management suite have not been released. yet.

Theoratically, SAS may offer to some key accounts to try it out prior to the general release.

Regardsless, for SAS realse information contact your SAS Insitute sales representative.

If it's worth to migrate to Viya without data management in place - depends on how much you have invested in DI, and how the future looks for your application/system.

But a general answer without knowing the details - no.

A 1-1 migratoin requires data mangement.
