SAS Viya with external user/groups issue

Hi,

As of now in our traditional we (client/customer) should have AD or sub AD groups with user list... our SAS Admins we will access to metadata to sysnc to access if customer/client doesn't have any AD/access protocol system we will go of auto sysnc script to pull the user/group data to add in to our metadata (SMC).

But in our viya we don't have SMC we use EVM admin page to add user and custom groups.... in the above case if customer/company don't have any AD/access related auth system how we can provide invoke users/groups into SAS Viya.

@gsuresh,

An LDAP server is required only if the customer does a full deployment of SAS Viya. It is not required in a programming-only deployment. So if you do not have an LDAP server, you can either setup it or just do a programming-only deployment.
