Dear colleague,

Do you have any experience in migrating the SAS9 view file (sas7bvew) to Viya 4 and To Be Accessible In SAS Studio?

Or it should be re-created after copying the base table (sas7bdat) file to Viya?

In other words, is it necessary to re-create the sas view file but not able to copy it to the Viya system directly?

Thank you for your sharing.

Best Regards,

Eddie

I suggest recreating the SAS views is your safest option. Any change to your SAS library and dataset content would upset a view definition. If you are changing OSs between your source and target SAS installations you will most likely need to convert all SAS library content.
