There is one file of mine that has to be in the repository and I can not change it, that is over 250,000 lines. When I go to the history tab, the interface just hangs because it's creating file diffs by default for the commits. Is there a way to turn off the file diffs, or limit them to a certain number of lines? I could commit the file and push to GitHub, then add it to the .gitignore after that, but I would still have to deal with the lag when I first commit it.
