SAS Studio Quick Tip: File references navigation pane

Working with file references is a very common thing for me, if it is saving the response from a proc http request, reading in some data or a myriad of other things – the filename is my friend. But sometimes I lose track of what file references I already have, how they were defined, or what they contain. SAS Studio to the rescue! In this GIF, I showcase how you can add the file references pane to your navigation bar (it isn't selected by default). This pane has even more tricks up its sleeve like creating file references via UI. If you want to learn about all of its uses, check out the SAS Documentation.

Even better you can use the View > Navigations panes menu to customize your SAS Studio experience further.
