We would like to look at EG v7.1 but not replace our current version 4.3. Is this possible? Is it worth doing? Anyone know of any issues that could be caused by doing it?
We are currently running BASE v9.2.
Thanks everyone.
Adding EG 7.1 should be fine with your existing install. You can use multiple versions of EG on the same machine, no conflicts.
Caution: if you load your existing 4.3 EGP files into 7.1, they will be "up-converted". If you save them that way, you won't be able to re-open the files in EG 4.3. So if you are experimenting with existing project files, be sure to save backup copies.

There is usually no problem having more than one version of EG installed. I'm running 5.1 and 6.1 on my PC at the moment.
The following reference details EG and SAS version compatibility:http://blogs.sas.com/content/sasdummy/2013/08/02/sas94-eg-versions/

This is a good caution, thank you for that.
