Why did your organization decide to work with a SAS partner? What was the business need?
Identifying taxpayers on foreign countries, matching from third-party sources with a large diversity of formats and nomenclatures, with various OECD / EU countries. A complex and time-consuming challenge, and the idea was to stop doing it manually, where the rate of success was very low, 4%-5%.
What were the expectations of the partner and how did the partner exceed them?
The customer started to have more information for inspection, risk analysis and fighting fraud and tax evasion. Incorporating Machine Learning in a process that, if it were not based it, would be much more time-consuming and erroneous. Also, it is a simple solution, with easy adherence by people.
How did the partner's contributions lead to your organization's success? Please quantify if possible.
Very high satisfaction, with identification rates above 80% (comparing to 4%-5% before). Also, to achieve correctness, huge time and effort was needed, and the process is now highly automated and timely. This implementation has allowed AT to excel on this process, among its fellow EU counterparts.
