SAS Customer Intelligence 360 releases operate on a continuous delivery model which allows for a more scalable, phased approach to feature deployment. Accordingly, these release notes might be updated several times a month. Check them regularly.

Unless otherwise specified, the features listed below are General Availability. Limited Release features are indicated. Contact your SAS representative if you have questions about this feature’s availability.

Features released on March 29:

  • Key Insights for Email and Web Tasks on the Home Page: The Home page now includes key insights that provide a summary of how email and web channels are performing. Each report contains a summary of task KPIs, a trend graph, and a list of tasks with the highest conversion rate. You can filter the report by 7, 30, 90, 180, and 365 days. For more information, see Key Insights in SAS Customer Intelligence 360: User’s Guide.

Mobile insights are planned for a future release.

  •  Upload Assets: A new Upload Assets action is added to the I Want To widget on the Home page. This addition provides direct access to the New Asset Upload Job step where you can upload one or more assets.

Note: In addition to this enhancement, the tiles in the I Want To widget are improved. The tiles have new icons and the tiles are resized depending on how many tiles are displayed.

  • Seed Contacts and Seed Lists: You can create seed contacts and add them to seed lists to verify that the correct offers are being sent to customers. A seed contact is an individual (typically a company employee) who receives the offer to verify that the communication has been processed correctly. You can group individual seed contacts into seed lists that you can use in direct marketing tasks or export templates.

  • Schema 11 for Data Tables: Data tables for the Unified Data Model (UDM) and the Common Data Model (CDM) are updated for schema 11. For more information, see Updates in Schema 11 for SAS Customer Intelligence 360.

Features released on March 21:

  • Facebook Audience Connector: Users can use preconfigured templates to configure a Facebook Audience connector that enables access to Facebook’s APIs for uploading audience data to Facebook Ads. The Facebook Audience connector is used in conjunction with a Facebook task. For more information, see Facebook Audience Connector in SAS Customer Intelligence 360: Administration Guide.

  • Facebook Tasks: Users can upload audience data to Facebook Audiences by using Facebook tasks. For more information, see Creating Facebook Tasks in SAS Customer Intelligence 360: User’s Guide.

  • Google Ads Connector: Users can use preconfigured templates to configure a Google Ads connector that enables access to Google Ads APIs for uploading customer data to Google Ads. The Google Ads connector is used in conjunction with a Google task. For more information, see Google Ads Connector in SAS Customer Intelligence 360: Administration Guide.

  • Google Tasks: Users can upload audience data to Google Ads by using Google tasks. For more information, see Creating Google Tasks in SAS Customer Intelligence 360: User’s Guide.

Features released on March 1:

  • Release Strategy Updates: SAS Customer Intelligence 360 will release when there are new features, approximately every two weeks. Feature availability is no longer associated with a particular release, such as 23.02. Instead, features will be introduced in a phased approach starting with a limited release. Because limited release features will be documented in the release notes when they are released, you might see features in the documentation that are not available to you yet. This phased release enables SAS Customer Intelligence 360 to provide the best customer experience by ensuring that features are thoroughly evaluated before becoming available. When a feature becomes available to everyone, it is considered generally available.

  • Improved UI for Tasks: We've updated the Task list UI to improve user experience. As a result, task list preferences might need to be reset. For example, you might need to reconfigure filter settings and folder settings.

  • Improved Notification Emails: Notification emails that are sent by the application are now easier to read. Improvements include a more user-friendly rich text format and a quick link to open associated items. Examples of notification emails include Segment Map Execution Started, Task Execution Completed, and Approval Required.

  • Use the Cross-domain Identity Management (SCIM) API to Change User's Type: You can change a user’s type by using the SCIM API. Previously, a user’s type could be updated only via the user interface. Now, by using the API an admin user’s type can be changed to non-admin, and a non-admin user’s type can be changed to admin.
