What's New for CI360 in July 2023

SAS Customer Intelligence 360 releases operate on a continuous delivery model that allows for a more scalable, phased approach to feature deployment. Accordingly, these release notes are updated several times a month. Check them regularly.

 

Unless otherwise specified, the features listed below are General Availability. Features that are released as Limited Availability and Release Preview are indicated. For more information about release levels, see Phased Releases for SAS Customer Intelligence 360. Contact your SAS representative if you have questions about a feature’s availability. For a full list of new features in SAS Customer Intelligence 360, see What's New.

 

The July release of SAS Customer Intelligence 360 includes the following new features and enhancements.

 

Features released on July 19:

 

  • SAS 360 Audiences (Limited Availability): Added support for dragging audience data items into the criteria and attributes sections of audiences. You can also drag data items to reorder them or move them to a different section.

  • Layout Manager Updates in Email (Release Preview): Improved user experience and styling updates for the layout manager. Improved rendering when working with different screen sizes.

  • Working with Content in Email Layout Manager (Release Preview): Improved user experience while working with content in the layout manager of an email task. Improvements include styling updates and making it easier to add and reorder content.

  • Multiple-columns element Updates in Email Layout Manager (Release Preview): If you use a multiple columns element with two columns, you can now resize it after content is added.

  • Review tab in Email Task (Release Preview): New user experience for Review tab that has everything in one tab instead of several pages. Responsive previews now include email header information. The review results are now organized by device type and you can scroll through variations. It is also easier to access run history and rerun tests.

    Note: A SAS 360 Engage: Email Testing license is required to access some of these features.

  • Email Preview Text Formatting (Release Preview): Extra padding is appended to the end of the email preview text. Some email clients display the email content immediately after the preview text. These hidden characters prevent the email's body from appearing in the preview in most email clients.

Features released on July 11:

 

  • Stopping Non-responsive Segment Maps and Direct Marketing Tasks: Enhances the ability of the Activate the Non-Responsive Item button to stop non-responsive segment maps and direct marketing tasks.

  • Role-based capabilities for the Connections Dashboard: Role-based capabilities are added for users who need to view and edit connector configurations and also track the performance metrics of the connectors on the Connections Dashboard. For more information, see Roles Available in SAS Customer Intelligence 360: Administration Guide.

     

    Also, the enhanced search functionality displays the search results in an expanded format that shows the connectors and their endpoints.
