What’s changed?
La Trobe University has expanded the use of SAS software and learning resources across more Faculty’s. matrices of disciplines and courses. They provide students with hands-on experience in data analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. By working with SAS, the university ensures students gain practical insights into real-world data and AI challenges and develop the expertise sought after by industry.
Both the Master of Business Analytics and Master of Business Information Systems are now leveraging the SAS Academic Specialisation program. And as Prof. Aron O’Cass, Dean at La Trobe Business School shared in an interview with Digital Nation, the philosophy is that when students graduate, there is a seamless transition into industry, driven by the students learning the critical AI and technology skills and knowledge, integrated as a result of the SAS Academic Specialisation program and the advanced Data and AI technology that the program bought to the Business School.
Critically SAS has worked with faculty members to share AI and SAS technology expertise, to ensure educators have stayed up to date with the latest trends and advancements in Data and AI, and so are better equipped to deliver high-quality instruction and mentorship to their students.
